Dopo parecchio attendere, ora è possibile ottenere una splash screen all’avvio di firefox e thunderbird come accadeva già per Mozilla Browser, basti pensare che su deviantart esiste una sezione appositamente dedicata alle splah screen di avvio per il buon vecchio moziila. Com’è possibile avere una splash screen per firefox e thunderbird ? La risposta è semplice, avvalendosi di una estensione appositamente dedicata, versatile ed efficace: Splash, questa estensione è disponibile per firefox, thunderbird, sunbird e flock. Potrete assegnare una splash screen di vostro gradimento, magari realizzata da voi stessi, e decidere i parameteri inerenti a tempo e modalità di visualizzazione. Di seguito Vi propino due splash realizzate da me, la risoluzione è 500×300 pixel, ma non si tratta di una risoluzione obbligata, è possibile spaziare con la fantasia. Finalmente la splash screen per firefox & co. Va ricordato che grazie al lavoro di extenzilla.org questa estensione ha il supporto per l’italiano.
